Starting with knowing your tools, materials and proper posture to help you achieve beautiful writing, you will learn throughout the lesson to use the calligraphy tools to form basic strokes, letters and words. If time permits, the instructor will also go through some basic layout and planning tips for writing quotes.
This class is tailored to suit complete beginners, no prior knowledge of calligraphy is required.
It is also suitable for beginner-novices who have had a little bit of experience with other forms of calligraphy (eg. brush, watercolour) or have been doing some initial self learning at home, but may wish to expand their skill to using the pointed pen.
All materials provided during the session are brand new and will be yours to bring home at the end of the class.
