“Tell me the story about how the sun loved the moon so much he died every night just to let her breathe.”
Were the Moon to speak her mind,
I wonder what it is, we’d find.
Would she tell her stories of how
she makes the ocean bend and bow?
Would she reveal the evening’s mysteries,
as people rest and recount their victories?
No, I think I know what she would say;
she’d tell us about what happens, each day -
of how the Sun pulls back so she can shine,
how their rhythm reveals a divine design;
of how she only reflects a light from Him,
that she has no glory of her own within.
Wonder, is what I think we’d find,
Were the Moon to speak her mind.

The story of the Sun and the Moon never fails to throw us into a whimsical cosmic imaginarium; both being so essentially existent in our lives, yet creation never ceases to amaze. It is of wonder how they are so perfectly interwoven to create night and day, shine and glow, and to paint the sky in colours beyond those crafted on palettes on a daily basis when they interchange their positions to remind us of the passing of another day.
We had the joy and honour to collaborate with fellow creatives, ABBI & j.cho, to incorporate our own take-away from the Sun & Moon, a story of love, hope and wonder. May it inspire you to wonder, as you wander through your day.
Each pin features our original artwork, available in four designs, and also sold as a set of four. The chic navy and gold tones would do great to jazz up any outfit, bag, or cap.
Dimensions: 30mm (d)
Made of enameled iron; rubber pin back
In collaboration with ABBI x j.cho
